The four statements were crafted during the early days of the society’s founding and were approved by the membership at the organizational membership meeting in August 2024. Despite the massive growth of the society since then, they continue to guide and inspire our leaders to this very day.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Accounting Society at Baylor is to enrich the lives of accounting students by cultivating professional growth and academic excellence within a caring community dedicated to servant leadership and Christian values.
Vision Statement
We envision a thriving accounting society that seamlessly works with the accounting department and other partners to make Baylor the best place in the world to study accounting.
Values Statement

- Support major exploration by introducing new students to the accounting profession
