The Accounting Society at Baylor recently completed its annual board election and its pleased to announce its new board members for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.
Two new directors will be joining the Board, namely Luke Thurman and Mario Gutierrez. The membership also reelected Caleb Brown, Jacob Smith, Patrick Devine, Katherine Benjamin, Abigail Selyukov and Miles McCavit for another year.
Michael Gundersen and Kennedy Hicks will be completing their service on the Board. Michael is graduating this spring and finishes four semesters of service with a perfect attendance record. Kennedy declined to seek reelection and will continue serving as the society’s Merchandising Manager. We thank both of them for their contributions to the Board.
The new Board will take office upon the adjournment of the annual membership meeting on April 29. They will then elect the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary from amongst themselves for the 2026-27 academic year.
